Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween!

Kaspars and I have just wrapped up guiding a two-week photography workshop around Iceland, during which we visited the Selfoss waterfall by the Jökulsá á Fjöllum river in the north.

Winter had arrived by the time that we got there, so we were very lucky to find frozen puddles and snow on the rocks surrounding the waterfall itself.

When I found this ghost face in the ice, it reminded me very much of the mask that was used in the movie ‘Scream‘! I had Kaspars pose in the rising spray from Selfoss, wearing his black hooded jacket to resemble the killer from Scream, while I got down low with my tripod and wide-angle lens to exaggerate the face in the foreground.

I hope you’re as amused by the result as I am!
