If you are interested in learning how to better use your camera, then feel free to come along with me on a private photography workshop in Iceland. I currently offer these sessions for individuals or small groups.
Each photo workshop is unique and tailored to help you learn new skills in-field and on-location.
These workshops may be focused on camera basics to advanced techniques, from framing the shot to post-processing thereafter.
Photo workshops may be as simple as an hour or two over a biscuit and a cup of tea, to several days out in the field. I am always open to travelling.
My general private photo workshop fee is $450 USD / 45,000 ISK / €360 / $570 AUD per day. However, the price of the workshop will depend on various other things, such as the number of participants, days involved, type of transportation, accommodation and other expenses. I am very flexible and will work with you to create a private tour in Iceland that fits your budget.
If you are interested in joining, then please get in touch to find out how we can work together to build a photo workshop that suits you. You can use the form below or send your enquiry to firstname.lastname@example.org
Please also check out Live Breathe Shoot Iceland for a range of custom-made private guided tours and photography workshops that I offer in conjunction with my partner Kaspars Dzenis, which will take you off the beaten track in Iceland!
“Our family enjoyed this trip so much that we kept talking about it in last couple days. Words can barely scratch the surface of the excitement behind those beautiful photos :)”

“We recently completed a very successful winter Iceland photo tour workshop with Serena. We have been on quite a few photography travel workshops in recent years and this workshop was certainly very impressive, the arrangements on the trip were faultless. Serena's skills and effort to ensure the group had great photo opportunities sometimes in difficult Icelandic winter weather conditions were very much appreciated. The itinerary had been carefully planned to maximise our photographic encounters and she was so helpful in guiding our photography and giving valuable technical advice. It is clear that she has a very detailed knowledge and almost spiritual connection to Iceland. I have no doubt we will return to Iceland again, hopefully with Serena on an Iceland Highlands tour in the near future.”
“I had a great time in Iceland. As you might know, the weather in Iceland changes every hour, so there were lots of ad hoc plannings in order for us to maximise our photo trip. Thank you very much.”
“Serena was a fantastic guide who gave us an unforgettable experience. Not only were we taken to some amazing places, we had fun. Even more than I was expecting. And the bus rides were always full of laughter as well as the very proud show and tell as we started taking photos off our cameras. I had nine wonderful days of experimenting with my camera, sometimes guided, sometimes just doing my own thing (she just seemed to know when she was needed and when you needed to be left to yourself) and in there I managed to find my own style and voice. Each day on the trip, with Serena’s help, I found my photography improving. Never had I dreamed I could take photos like this.”
“Oprah Winfrey said, 'The biggest adventure you can take is to live the life of your dreams'. Serena is living the life of her dreams by traveling the world to capture perfect photos so that we, her followers can share her adventures & admire her amazing talents. 💃✨💫 Serena brings joy to my day with her breathtaking photography.”
“A wonderful photographer, her work is amazing and she has a great personality, friendly to all of her followers.”
