I’m incredibly excited to share that I’ve joined the jury for the third edition of the Nature & Humans Photography Contest.
This is a global competition that invites photographers to reflect on one of the most urgent and layered relationships that we know of: the one between people and the planet.
Organised by Fundación Desarrollo Sostenible ADF, this year’s contest runs from May 24 to September 1, 2025. It is open to photographers of all levels, from anywhere in the world.
Whether your work documents biodiversity, explores ecosystems under threat, or offers a poetic take on the natural world, this competition is a meaningful space to share what you see and how you see it.
This contest goes well beyond the typical photo competition. With 14 distinct categories, it welcomes everything from raw documentary to visual storytelling, from classic wildlife shots to more conceptual work. Here’s a quick breakdown:
This contest doesn’t just celebrate beautiful images. It champions ethics, storytelling and the act of being a witness. Whether you photograph remote landscapes or urban ecosystems, the images that we make and share have the power to connect people, to raise awareness and to shift perspectives.
As someone who works at the intersection of art, ecology and imagination, I’m really honoured to be a part of this platform. It is one that values both beauty and responsibility.
If you’re working on something that resonates with these themes, then I strongly encourage you to enter. The competition begins on May 24 and the deadline is September 1, 2025. You can find the full details and submission info at natureandhumans.com
